About EV Hotel Guide

An independent directory of hotels in the United States and Canada with EV charging for guests.

Planning a road trip in an electric vehicle usually comes down to one question at the end of the day: can I charge where I'm sleeping? Hotels rarely answer it clearly. The charger may be guest-only, may cost money, may be one plug shared by the whole parking lot, or may not exist at all despite what a booking site says.

EV Hotel Guide collects that information in one place and currently lists 2,490 hotels. For each hotel we show the plug types, the charging level, the network, whether guests only can use it, and what it costs. Where we are sure a charger is genuinely free, with no per-kWh or hourly fee, we mark it with a distinct badge, because that is the detail drivers are hardest pressed to find.

Honest about what we know

Not every listing has been checked by a person, and we say so. Listings marked Verified have been; the rest come from public charging-station data and are marked Unverified. The full explanation, including where each piece of data comes from, is on the How it works page.
